Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at (775) 885-7712 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

LAYAWAY/WILL CALL
Carson Home Furnishings will hold merchandise for up to 6 months. Any purchase held for over 7 days is considered a layaway, and requires a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, and 6 equal payments, with any remaining balance due upon receipt of merchandise. Merchandise held for over 6 months is subject to a $15.00 weekly storage fee.

SPECIAL ORDERS
Special order merchandise requires a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at the time the order is placed. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm the accuracy of their order receipt. Any quotes made regarding delivery times are estimates based on our experience with our suppliers, not a guarantee. For items out of stock please allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks for delivery depending upon manufacturer availability.

AS-IS MERCHANDISE
Please inspect As-Is items carefully, as all sales are final and cannot be returned for refund or credit. As-Is items must be paid in full at time of purchase and may not be placed on LAYAWAY or WILL CALL. No warranties are implied on behalf of the manufacturer or Carson Home Furnishings.

BEDDING
Carson Home Furnishings stocks and sells only Factory New mattresses. Unless stated otherwise, all mattresses will be packaged & sealed in their original factory wrapper when you take possession. Carson Home Furnishings does not sell rebuilt, reconditioned, refurbished or used-sanitized mattresses in any form. Out of concern for hygeine, and the safety of our customers, Carson Home Furnishings does not offer any type of overnight trial period on our mattresses. All mattress sales are final and may not be returned. (Excludes Tempurpedic. All Tempurpedic Mattresses come with a 90 day sleep Trial.)

FINANCING
Financing is available through outside institutions. A complete, approved application and deposit are required in advance of ordering merchandise and arranging delivery. Your sales associate will be happy to explain the financing terms available. All finance payments must be made directly to the outside finance company. We cannot accept payments on their behalf.

REFUNDS
Refunds are issued within 5-12 business days by original method of payment to original payor, with the exception of cash. Cash payments will be refunded in the form of a check.

MANUFACTURER DISTRESSING OF PRODUCT FINISHES
Some items come from the manufacturer with purposefully distressed textures, and/or finishes to enhance the characteristic look of the item. Items that have manufacturer distressing cannot be returned. Sometimes this specially treated wood or leather will vary in grain and color. Neither Carson Home Furnishings nor the manufacturer guarantees that the grain and/or coloring will be consistent on any items that have been specially treated to be distressed.

LEATHER FURNITURE
Any leather furniture with scuff marks, healed scars, or barbed wire marks may not be returned. These features are a natural characteristic of real leather hide.

Carson Home Furnishings DELIVERIES
will provide one delivery attempt to one address per order, for the appropriate delivery fee. Due to delays in shipping from the manufacturer or if manufacturer has shipped only a partial order, the customer may choose to hold delivery until all items are available for delivery. If however, customer chooses not to wait until all items are available for delivery and chooses a partial delivery, there will be an additional charge for remaining items to be delivered when available. Any missed delivery appointments will require an additional delivery fee. Your furniture will be inspected at the time of delivery for any damage. Carson Home Furnishings reserves the right to delay delivery of backorder, damaged or defective merchandise. Our delivery personnel have received special training to repair and touch up furniture. They are qualified to correct minor scratches and nicks should they be discovered at the delivery site. When you receive your order, please inspect your furniture for damage while the delivery personnel are at your home. You may return items that are broken or damaged. In the unusual case where an item is returned, it will be repaired or replaced as quickly as possible. Delivery fee is non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled delivery date/time.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
It is the customer’s responsibility to check their order receipt for complete accuracy. Carson Home Furnishings cannot anticipate non-level floors or uneven walls in the customer’s home, so consequently, it is the customer’s responsibility to level all furniture once received, including cabinets, dressers, armoires, wall units, etc. Carson Home Furnishings cannot anticipate the size of customer’s home, stairwells, or hallways and doorways, consequently, it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure furniture will fit in their home at the time of purchase. If delivery to the desired space involves potential damage to your home or existing furniture due to size or weight, the items being delivered will be placed in another area in the home, as designated by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to have the space cleared of all furniture and a clear path to and in the home. Delivery personnel cannot move or relocate furniture already in your home. Delivery personnel cannot move or connect any electronic equipment, and they are not able to experiment with room arrangements.

CUSTOMER PICK-UPS
Our trained personnel are always on hand during warehouse pick-up hours to assist with loading your furniture. However, Carson Home Furnishings cannot be responsible for merchandise once it has left our premises in good condition. Carson Home Furnishings has no responsibility for the safety of the merchandise or vehicles during loading and/or securing or anytime thereafter including but not limited to transporting to customer’s destination. We ask that you bring adequate blankets, padding and ropes if needed. Furniture is left in its’ original manufacturer packaging when possible. Some items may require assembly. Carson Home Furnishings staff will be happy to assemble any items you wish to have pre-assembled prior to pick up. Warehouse and pick-up hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. To minimize your wait time, we kindly request at least 24 hours notice for customer pick-ups.

CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
Carson Home Furnishings cannot be responsible for "Consequential Damages". (loss of product use during repairs, etc.). If Carson Home Furnishings is unable to make delivery due to the unavailability of a particular item, our liability is limited to a refund of the monies paid for that item.

ACCURACY
Our management team at Carson Home Furnishings makes every effort to ensure that our pricing information is accurate and up-to-date for our sales staff. However, in the event that merchandise is quoted incorrectly by a staff member or should a typographical error occur, Carson Home Furnishings shall have the right to refuse or cancel the incorrect order.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
All exchanges and returns must be authorized by Carson Home Furnishings and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Items such as bedding, upholstered goods, layaway items, "as-is" items, special order and/or custom items may not be returned. Case goods may be returned for credit within 7 days in original condition. Delivery fees cannot be refunded after execution.

WARRANTIES
Carson Home Furnishings warranties the merchandise you purchase from us will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The warranty does not cover the following: Wear, fading or shrinkage of fabric, damage caused by misuse, accidents, discoloration caused by sunlight or artificial lighting, variations in color or grain of wood or wood products. In all cases, Carson Home Furnishings written warranty and statement of the store policy supersedes any verbal representation made by any person on behalf of Carson Home Furnishings.

Returned checks will incur a $35.00 fee. Store credits expire 180 days from issuance.
